Manolo Blahnik

Come si fa' ad non aver mai sentito parlare di Manolo Blahnik e delle sue favolose scarpe??? (Io le amo alla follia). Manolo B. è uno stilista spagnolo creatore di una nota casa di moda produttrice di scarpe da donna.
Le sue scarpe, vendute in tutto il mondo, spaziano nel prezzo da centinaia a migliaia di dollari. Tacchi vertiginosi, lacci, cuciture e altri dettagli le rendono esemplari unici. Le sue favolose scarpe acquistano popolarità con la famosa serie TV Sex and the City, dove vengono citate molto spesso da Carrie Bradshaw e dalla sue inseparabili amiche. Le caratteristiche che rendono queste scarpe così ricercate e così richieste dal pubblico femminile sono la loro unicità e la fantasia in quanto ogni modello è differente dall'altro. Questi sono solo alcuni dei modelli di questi anni...ovviamente ho dovuto fare una scelta!!! ;)

Primavera Estate 2012

Ecco, sta arrivando la primavera e iniziamo a fare il cambio di stagione negli armadi...via il pesante, dentro la leggerezza!!!
Come accade quasi tutti gli anni i "must have" di questa stagione sono i colori pastello, il bianco, e colori accesi come verde smeraldo, arancione, rosso corallo, giallo e blu elettrico o bluette...insomma tutti colori che stanno benissimo con l'abbronzatura!!!! :)

Trovo fantastico questo spot...penso che faccia venir voglia di comprare il profumo anche se non piace, è così romantico!!! Stupendo lavoro Sophia Coppola!

 Today I want to talk about a "fashion icon" of the '60s that for elegance and sophistication has remained an icon to this days. The big success of Audrey Hepburn became with Breakfast at Tiffany's based on the novel by Truman Capote. At 50 years after the film the timeless charm of the actress, became an icon of beauty and style. In a letter to his aunt, Capote admitted that he had originally picked Marilyn Monroe to play the part of Holly because he truly adored Marilyn but for the producer, Audrey Hepburn may have been more aesthetically appropieted, in fact Hepburn's character as Holly Golightly is considered among her best performances, and gained her an Academy Award nomination for Best Actress. Hepburn's costumes, designed by legendary designers Edith Head and Givenchy, had an immediate and profound influence on both 1960s couture style and popular women's fashion. To this day, "Breakfast at Tiffany's" is singled out as one of the greatest achievements in costume design, and Hepburn's image as Holly Golightly remains synonymous with elegant, minimalist style; as Audrey Hepburn said in an interview after the film Breakfast at Tiffany’s in 1961: "I was nothing like her, but I felt I could 'act' Holly. I knew the part would be a challenge, but I wanted it anyway. I always wonder if I risked enough on that one. I should have been a little more outrageous. But at the time, as a new mother, I was about as wild as I could be. If only I were a Method player, huh? But the fact is, I didn't really believe in The Method. I believed in good casting. And I'm still not sure about Holly and me..."

La moda è un termine generico per uno stile popolare o pratica, soprattutto nell’abbigliamento, scarpe o qualsiasi tipo di accessorio. Con il termine “moda” ci riferiamo a tutto ciò che è la tendenza attuale nel look e nel vestire di una persona. Lo stile nel modo di vestire riflette ovviamente il carattere interiore di una persona o il gusto personale.

Voglio iniziare questo mio blog con un po’ di storia…trascorrendo il ’900 nelle varie epoche che sono rimaste indelebili nella storia della moda…per motivi di tempo e anche di spazio, perché non posso scrivere un’enciclopedia mi limito solo al secolo scorso e questi primi anni del nuovo secolo!!!!!
